WE HELP THOUSANDS IN OUR COMMUNITY HERE AS WELL AS ABROAD
Leah’s Hopes and Dreams (LHD) creates opportunities in the lives of youth, underprivileged families and the less fortunate. We are a 501c3 organization with an emphasis on God, education, and programs that support sustainable behavioral changes.
There is still plenty of work to be done! As a charitable orgainzation, Leah’s Hopes and Dreams depends on the kindness of individuals like you. Please help us make a difference in the community by donating whatever time you have available.
To often we take things as essential as a good meal for granted. With homelessness on the rise, many in our own community find it bare it hard to secure a decent meal. Help us feed the less fortunate in our community by donating any food that you may have to spare. A little goes a long way.
“Volunteers are the only human beings on the face of the earth who reflect this nation’s compassion, unselfish caring, patience, and just plain loving one another.”
THESE ARE A FEW OF THE BIG PLANS THAT WE HAVE FOR 2018
In 2017 Leah’s Hopes and Dreams launched our Scholarship Program for graduating High School seniors going to college. The Scholar of Hope Scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. The application will reopen on August 1, 2018, for students who will be high school seniors at that time.

Dream Big Mentoring is a structured program that gives your child the critical thinking skills and mindset to learn new materials independently outside of normal school hours. The key to the program is the individualized instruction, carefully planned by an instructor(s).
